Day 01: Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai (L/D)

Kuala Lumpur ✈ Shanghai Flight: AirAsia > D7 332 | 16th Sep Departure: KUL 23:10 → 17th Sep Arrival: PVG 04:45 (+1)
You will depart from Kuala Lumpur on flight D7 332 on 16th Sep at 23:10 and arrive in Shanghai on 17 Sep at 04:45 in the early morning.
Upon arrival at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, our SSTA Travel and Tour representative will meet and greet you.
After that, you will transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and take a rest until 11:00 AM.
In the afternoon, begin your visit to Shanghai’s iconic Skyscraper Corridor with exterior photo stops at the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower. Afterward, return to the hotel for a short break. Enjoy a relaxing Huangpu River Cruise in the evening with views of Shanghai’s illuminated skyline.

Day 02: Shanghai to Wuzhen (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and proceed to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. From there, take the suggested high-speed train G7589 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Tongxiang, departing at 10:33 and arriving at 11:13. Upon arrival, transfer to the ancient water town of Wuzhen. In the afternoon, explore the Wuzhen West Scenic Zone, where you can stroll through narrow lanes, admire centuries-old wooden buildings, and enjoy the charm of canals lined with stone bridges and teahouses. In the evening, take a night tour of the Wuzhen West Scenic Zone, as the town transforms under soft lighting, creating a magical atmosphere along its illuminated ancient streets and peaceful waterways. Day 03: Wuzhen to Hangzhou (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and depart for Hangzhou, a city renowned for its natural beauty and cultural heritage. Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing with a visit to the West Lake Scenic Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its tranquil waters, willow-lined paths, and classical Chinese landscape design. Next, head to Longjing Tea Village, where you will learn about traditional tea culture and enjoy a complimentary tasting of the region’s famous Dragon Well (Longjing) tea. Later, take a leisurely walk along Qinghefang Ancient Street, a well-preserved area showcasing the charm of Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, complete with traditional shops, local snacks, and cultural exhibits. Day 04: Hangzhou to Suzhou (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart by private transfer to Suzhou, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, your sightseeing begins with a visit to Ou Yuan Garden, one of Suzhou’s UNESCO-listed classical Chinese gardens, known for its refined landscaping, delicate pavilions, and harmonious design. Next, head to the Taohuawu Cultural Area, where you’ll explore the traditional art of Suzhou-style woodblock printing and get a glimpse into its rich artistic heritage. Continue to Shantang Ancient Street, a 1,200-year-old historic canal-side street often referred to as “Seven-Li Shantang,” where you can soak in the atmosphere of old Suzhou. In the evening, enjoy a night tour of the Jinji Lake Scenic Area, a modern part of the city featuring dazzling light displays and stunning waterfront views. Day 05: Suzhou to Shanghai (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Shanghai by private transfer, with a journey time of approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, visit Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, a 1,700-year-old water town often referred to as the “Venice of Shanghai.” You’ll stroll through narrow alleys lined with traditional Ming and Qing dynasty architecture, cross charming stone bridges, explore quaint tea houses, and sample local delicacies along its peaceful canals. Later, visit Guangfulin Relics Park, a unique archaeological site that blends ancient cultural heritage with modern design. This park showcases relics from over 4,000 years ago, including submerged exhibition halls and artifacts dating from the late Neolithic period to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, offering a fascinating insight into Shanghai’s deep historical roots. Day 07: Shanghai City Tour and Departure (B/L/D)

After breakfast, begin your final day in Shanghai with A City Highlights Tour. Start with a visit to the Normandie Apartments (also known as Wukang Building), a wedge-shaped architectural icon from 1924 that’s become a popular photography spot. Then head to Xintiandi Style, a fashionable district that blends historic Shikumen architecture with modern shops and restaurants. Continue to the City God Temple Shopping District, where you can enjoy traditional folk culture and shop for local souvenirs. As the evening sets in, take a relaxing stroll along the Bund, one of Shanghai’s most famous waterfronts, where the historic colonial buildings face the futuristic skyline across the Huangpu River. After dinner, transfer to the airport for your return flight. Your flight, D7 331, departs from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) at 01:35 in the early morning and arrives in Kuala Lumpur (KUL) at 07:15.
