ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Siem Reap (D)

Up on arrival Siem Reap International Airport meet and greet with ssta travel tour representative, later proceed to Tonle Sap Lake to visit the floating village of Chong Kneas. Nestled under the hill of Phnom Krom, this floating community moves location with the waters of the lake. During the wet season when the lake swells to five times its size, the village is near Phnom Krom, but during the dry season, it moves as much as 4km from the hill. Later check in hotel for refreshment and later have wonderful buffet dinner with Apsara dance. The Apsara robam is played by a woman, sewn into tight-fitting traditional dress, whose graceful, sinuous gestures are codified to narrate classical myths or religious stories.

Day 2: Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. This morning you will visit Angkor Wat, once used as the location of the video-game and movie “Tomb Raider”. Named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, noted for its high towers and unique architecture, is one of the most remarkable manmade structures in the world. Influenced by Hindu culture, Angkor Wat was built in the 12th century by the ancient Khmer civilization in the honor of the lord Vishnu.
Afternoon, tour the city of Angkor Thom, beginning with the Leper King Terrace, a platform adorned with marvelously sculpted, stunning Apsara nymph faces. Continue the exploration on The Elephant Terrace, the place where royal audiences and public ceremonies took place during the great civilization. Next, discover the southern region of the ancient city and the famous Bayon, an enigmatic and enchanting temple composed of 54 gigantic towers, 206 carved faces that stare out with crumbling eyes. On the way back, visit the awe-inspiring Ta Prohm, which was discovered in 1860 by the French explorer Henri Mouhot.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Kulen Mountain (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel, This morning we travel to Phnom Kulen, the sacred mountain that was the birthplace of the Khmer empire. It was here that Jayavarman II proclaimed independence from Java in 802, setting the stage for the glories of the Angkor-era that was to follow. This mountain plateau was the capital of the Khmer empire before it relocated south to Hariharalaya, known today as Roluos. We enjoy a picnic lunch box from Siem Reap.
Afternoon, you will visit the produce of Sugar Palm who made by craftsmen (in the dry season only) then visit to Artisans d’ Angkor silk weaving project that was established to revitalize the Cambodian handicraft industry, drawing on the rich foundations of the Angkor empire.
Enjoy your dinner at nice local restaurant. After dinner stop over for 1 hour night market Busy market with vendors for crafts, jewelry, clothing, gifts & snacks.. Accommodation in Siem Reap

Day 4: Siem Reap – Departure (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel, today is the day for free at leisure. When the times arrives you will transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for connecting flight .
