DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SIEM REAP – CULTURE, CRAFTSMANSHIP & EVENING SHOW Meals: Lunch / Dinner

Welcome to Siem Reap, the cultural gateway to Cambodia’s magnificent Angkor civilisation.
Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, meet SSTA Travel and Tour Representative and proceed by private air-conditioned vehicle to the hotel. Hotel check-in will be arranged according to the official check-in time.

Begin your Cambodian experience with an introductory city tour.
Artisans Angkor
Visit Artisans Angkor, a social enterprise established to preserve Cambodia’s traditional arts while creating employment opportunities for local artisans. Observe skilled craftsmen producing beautiful stone carvings, woodwork, lacquerware, silver-plated items and silk products using techniques passed down through generations.
Angkor Silk Farm
Continue to the Angkor Silk Farm, where visitors can learn about the fascinating silk-production process—from cultivating mulberry trees and raising silkworms to spinning, dyeing and weaving the finished silk.
Enjoy lunch at a local halal restaurant.
In the evening, savour a delicious halal dinner at a Cambodian Muslim restaurant before attending the impressive Smile of Angkor Show.
This colourful cultural performance brings Cambodia’s legends and Angkorian history to life through traditional dance, music, costumes, dramatic lighting and captivating stage effects.
After the show, return to the hotel and rest.

DAY 2: THE MAJESTIC TEMPLES OF ANGKOR Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a remarkable full-day exploration of the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park.
Angkor Thom
Enter the ancient fortified city of Angkor Thom, once the magnificent royal capital of the Khmer Empire. Pass through its monumental gateway and discover an extraordinary complex of temples, terraces and royal structures.
Bayon Temple
Visit the enigmatic Bayon Temple, renowned for its many towers decorated with enormous stone faces. Their peaceful expressions and mysterious smiles have made Bayon one of Cambodia’s most recognisable landmarks.
Terrace of the Elephants
Continue to the impressive Terrace of the Elephants, a grand ceremonial platform decorated with detailed carvings of elephants, warriors and mythical creatures. Khmer kings once stood here to observe royal processions and public celebrations.
Ta Prohm Temple

Journey to the atmospheric Ta Prohm, where giant tree roots twist dramatically through ancient stone corridors and temple walls. Left partially in its natural condition, Ta Prohm offers a fascinating glimpse of how the jungle gradually reclaimed the ancient city.
Enjoy a halal lunch at Wau Restaurant.
After lunch, make a brief stop at a local gemstone shop before continuing to the highlight of the day.
Angkor Wat
Explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s national symbol and the largest religious monument in the world. Admire its elegant towers, extensive galleries, detailed bas-reliefs and remarkable architectural symmetry while learning about its transformation from a Hindu temple into an important Buddhist place of worship.
There will be sufficient time to appreciate the monument, take photographs and enjoy the unforgettable surroundings.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at The Halal Food Restaurant.
Siem Reap Night Market and Pub Street
Conclude the day at the lively Siem Reap Night Market, where stalls sell Cambodian handicrafts, clothing, souvenirs, artwork and local products.
Guests may also be dropped off at Pub Street, Siem Reap’s famous entertainment district filled with restaurants, cafés, shops and colourful evening activity.
Return to the hotel independently or according to the arrangement advised by the guide.

DAY 3: KBAL SPEAN ADVENTURE, SIEM REAP CITY & TONLÉ SAP LAKE Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning the day’s programme.

Kbal Spean – River of a Thousand Lingas
Eight participants will travel to Kbal Spean, an archaeological site located in a forested mountain area northeast of Angkor.
A scenic jungle walk leads to the famous River of a Thousand Lingas, where sacred Hindu carvings were sculpted directly into the riverbed and surrounding rocks. These carvings, dating from the Angkorian period, symbolised the spiritual purification of the water before it flowed toward the ancient capital.
The excursion involves uphill walking over natural and occasionally uneven terrain. Comfortable walking shoes, suitable clothing and sufficient drinking water are recommended.
Free and Easy Arrangement
Two participants who are not joining the mountain excursion will have a relaxing free-and-easy morning. They may rest at the hotel or explore nearby areas at their own pace.
The group will later gather for a halal lunch at Khmer Muslim Restaurant.
West Baray
In the afternoon, visit West Baray, an enormous ancient reservoir constructed during the Khmer Empire. Surrounded by peaceful countryside, this impressive engineering achievement once played an essential role in supplying water to the Angkor region.
Wat Kesararam
Continue to Wat Kesararam, a peaceful Buddhist temple known for its colourful architecture, religious artwork and serene atmosphere. The visit offers an opportunity to observe Cambodia’s living Buddhist traditions.
Psar Chas Old Market
Explore Psar Chas, Siem Reap’s historic Old Market. Browse the bustling lanes filled with fresh produce, spices, clothing, souvenirs, handicrafts and everyday Cambodian goods.
Tonlé Sap Lake Cruise
Later, board a boat for a memorable cruise on Tonlé Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake.
Observe floating houses, schools, shops and fishing activities while learning about the unique communities whose lives are closely connected to the lake’s changing water levels. The cruise provides a different perspective of rural Cambodian life and its relationship with the natural environment.
After the cruise, enjoy a halal dinner at Sofea’s Halal Kitchen.
Return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel.
The remaining time is free for relaxation, last-minute souvenir shopping or a leisurely walk around the hotel area, depending on the flight schedule.
At the designated time, check out from the hotel and transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
